Gps mounts
I have read every post about mounts did'nt see what I want...can anybody show me a photo of a nuvi on a street glide...cant find a mount I like or a position I am comfortable with.Tried to mount on windshield as I have the Cvo dash...Great location but vibrates too much and I just used suction cup that came with my nuvi and am scared that it will fall off.Would like to mount in my field of view as I have a black windshield I look over and not through.I have a nuvi 765t.Also what is the cleanest way to power up my unit where I can remove all signs that I have a GPS when not in use.You guys are the best for Ideas ....HELP a Brother out....Thanks Dave (06 SG)

Here's my setup. I have a Nuvi 750. The mount comes with a strap and a small piece of plastic with double sided tape that attaches to the back of the cradle. It then loops over the handlebar so if the GPS were to come loose it is secured by the strap. You can see it in the seecond picture. The cradle is hanging from the bike.
In the position that I have the GPS I can use the GPS with my thumb without removing my hand from the grip.

I just would think that you will be better off looking ahead than to the side and down.Buddy has one on his handlebars and he is always looking left and down just to see it in sunlight, couple times he almost lost it paying too much attention to GPS and not the road.Do they make a mount that will lay on the CVO dash pad and attach to the middle screw on the windshield, then I might be able to put it in front and not on the side....just seems like my eyes are off the road with it on the handlebars....Thanks

only vibrates a little at idle.....real easy to see and I can plug it in to my radio ( the 760 has a mp3 player built in ) so you can listen to music and directions at the same time
