Default Stock cams in a 2012 103??

So im trying to decide if im gonna do a set of woods 555 cams in my glide, but the dealer is telling me there are SE255's in the 103's from the factory. I thought there were just 103 jugs and pistons on there and thats it, everything else is the same as a 96". Anyway if I do the 555 cams is the stock compression at 9.6 gonna be ok? or is there another cam I should look at too. I saw the 777 cams but I dont know what they would be good in and I dont want to take apart the top end just looking for a cam swap for now.

I'd say your dealer has a BS degree, have him prove it.

Stock cams in a 103" ARE NOT SE255s. It is almost criminal how little knowledge some dealers have...or how little morals they have........

I have a 103 in a road 2011 road king. I installed the woods 555 cams and at the same time true duals, breather, and a pv. It was like night and day.
The 103's do not come with the 255 cams.

I don't think it's lack of morals though, just lack of knowledge. Makes you wonder how many potential cam jobs they lose because the tell their customers they already have 255's in them.

2012 Street Glide, Woods 555 cams, FM header pipe and air cleaner, Jackpot mufflers and PowerVision, yeehah! This is a good configuration, as is above, there are many choices out there for all of these components, do a little resaearch and go with what you are comfortable with. I am a big proponent of Fuel Moto, now that I live in Wisconsin and have witnessed their work and service, and having lived in Ohio many years, you can't go wrong with Harley Tuner's advice either.

The problem just might be the definition of "dealer." If guys are refering to a salesperson as a "dealer" they are exhibiting just as much ignorance as they are accusing the "dealer" or "stealer" to the more intelligent whiners of having. A salesperson at a Harley dealership is usually in no way an expert on all things mechanical. If they were they'd be in service or even the parts department. They are just displaced used car salesmen! I'm sure there are people in most service departments that can and will give you accurate information.

Sorry, but if you complain about getting bad information from a dealer, when you just talk to a salesman, I think you got what you deserve.

Yes, Fuel Moto is top notch, i've spoken with Jamie on the phone more than once, he's a staight up dude. Thanks for the kind works. I've been doing this for awhile now.
