Before you do that you're only 20 miles or so from Motorcycle Metal, near Fort Lauderdale. Howard there specialises in suspension for Harleys and would be well worth a visit.

Thanks for the tip, I have been to Howard's a few times for a friends bike, but like I said before if I'm going to drop that much cash then I want to compare the air ride systems as well.

As mentioned, the lowered (12") are what comes on the CVO Street Glide.

I can say the 13" ones are a huge improvement in ride quality over the standard air shock system. Especially when riding two-up.

This will be my next dilema.... HD Premiums or 940s.......

I believe the new 940's will drop the bike a bit lower?
I went with the HD premium shocks because I wanted to stay at the stock height.
