Default Monkey Bars or Ape Hangers, what’s the difference?

So what’s the difference between Monkey Bars and Ape Hangers?
I’m trying to find some handlebars for my Street Glide that are more pullback and taller.

Paul Yaffe has a 10" Ape Hanger bars, would these also have Pull Back?
He also has 10" Monkey bars but they won't work with my Hydraulic Clutch housing.

I’ve had the Wild 1 Chubbys WO575 bars the past 4 years and was wanting something also a little taller, with some pullback.

The WO575 bars are called a 10” rise but they aren’t.
They are at least 4” shorter than their 12” bars as you can see in the pictures below.

10”

12”

Email or call them, they can make the bars work with your hydraulic clutch.

pullback is just how far the bars are turned in. the more pullback you have the more your wrists hurt. do you mean something else?

Sorry, but with all the bad press they get from people about their customer service department, I would never special order anything from Paul Yaffe.

The 1" bars will work for me I just wanted to know if there was any difference between Apes and Monkey bars.

Just the look brother, they're both Ape's just the monkey bars have that bend up top and the classic bars don't.

It's not a special order man, they make the bars for bikes with hydraulic clutches.

"Pullback" does not mean "how far bars are turned in".

No sweat, I'm not defending the guy, but I have been pleased with their service. Whether people like it or not, his stuff is hot right now and has been for a while, so they're backed logged on orders, it happens with any company that has popular products. He also does custom builds he doesn't just sell parts. It is what it is, but his stuff is quality and looks good.

Also I forgot to mention above his classic bars are 1" thick, the monkey bars are thicker. Both can still be wired internally.
