Rear Wheel Removal - FLHTK

I have a brand new J&S jack but have been a little reserved about jacking my baby up on her.
The manual says to always take the jack all the way up until the locking detentes can be dropped in.
If the bike is up there will taking off the rear wheel throw the balance enough to affect the safe execution of the job?
Just wondering.

When I worked at a INdy shop 4 yrs ago. #1 rule was always to use red locktite on the bolts that held the brake caliper on any bike
Same thing goes when puttin rotor bolts to the wheel.
Have seen the caliper bolts come loose as well the rotor bolts.
And in your picture that would be bolt number two.
Locktite is yer friend on a Harley.
Blue about everywhere except rotor and caliper bolts. Then red.
You can take the bolts back out, just a little harder to break loose.
Then clean everything before puttin back together.
