Battery Tender pigtail: what can I plug into it?
So I got to thinking that I already had the tender pigtail with the standard fusing connected to my battery and I wondered what could connect to it, such as heated clothing?
I already use my cigarette lighter for my GPS and that works fine. I have some bag wrap-around lights connected to my auxiliary switch on the dash and that works fine too. Anyone connect heated clothing directly to the battery tender pigtail?
Thanks.

Do it the other way. Connect heated clothing coax cable to your battery. Then get the adapter that adapts the battery tender to coax. The cable attached to your bike works for both heated clothing & battery tending. The coax adapter on the battery tender keeps you from plugging & unplugging the two prong plug from the battery tender. That is the battery tender's most vulnerable point. Constant plugging, unplugging causes the male prong to compress & it quits making contact. It's easy to fix, but if you don't have to fix it, why bother?

Pigtail Options
Try this site. I purchased a cig, lighter adapter that connects one end to the pigtail. That way I can charge my phone, or use to plow up an air mattress or whatever. But then again my Road King didnt come with a cig lighter port....or a refridgerator. They also sell a bunch of options for heated gear plugs.

As mentioned, one of the things you can get is single ciragette lighter plug with a battery tender plug. I have one of those and plug a three hole cigarette lighter unit into that and stick it into my saddlebag. The three hole unit I use for various things:
1) Phone Charger
2) Ipod Charger
3) Universal Cell Phone Battery Charger
4) DC/AC Inverter (which also has a USB port to charge various components)
With regards to heated clothing I think if you fish around, you can probably find a heated gear plug that has a battery tender plug on the other end. The nice thing about that would be to minimize the number of cables you have connected to your battery terminals. Right now, I have a battery tender cable and a heated gear cable connected to mine.

The Habachi and the fridg is way too much load for that connector. You can unplug the fridg while you are using the Habachi though. Under 60 mph the fridg will stay cool for about an hour.
