any clue if this will bolt up with a kuryakyn v'shield horn cover? the stock cover setup has your bracket on top of the horn mount but the v-shield has a deep recessed hole, could your bracket mount behind the horn mount?

Not even gonna try to guess if it'll work. I built the system around the OEM horn. I do appologize folks but I just don't have the resources to test fit every concievable combination of aftermarket horns, covers, and other accessories. In due time this will work itself out as users find alternate mounting solutions or "prioritize" their accessories. I will engage these issues eventually.

No need to apologize. Like you said, the possible combinations are infinite. I think the users could look at their setup, your pictures, and have a pretty good idea if it would work or not. One idea maybe, if it wouldn't compromise unit integrity too much, would be to make the attaching bracket inter-changeable, that way you could have a 'standard' mount, but still let people fashion their own if they wanted to. As sharp as you are, I'm sure that already occurred to you. #39, was it?
I'm watching this thread closely and congratulate Jason on his website and innovative products. When I can reconcile fitment of the fan kit with my Rivco air horns that hog that area I'll be on the list too.
One question: On your thermostat for HD coolers, where is it inserted? You mention in the FAQ that it can be installed with the adapter in place but I'd like to know what needs to be removed, etc. Does the filter need to be removed?
One future addition to your website might be to provide PDF's of the instruction sheets, but I realize you must undertake one thing at a time and have a lot on your plate at this time.

As always you offer excellent input, I do plan doing the install instructions and maybe even a video. You don't have to remove anything extra to do the swap in the HD adapter. Member tibadoe did a great job in post #38 and #40; This link very clearly shows the retainer plug for the thermostat in the HD adapter https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...rmostat-4.html

Okay, I missed those photos before. The cooler adapter on antique bikes like my '07 fit different than the newer ones, and the t'stat is oriented more downward with little clearance between it at the VR. The VR may need to be moved out of the way, but that isn't hard. I wonder if snap-ring pliars would work on the t'stat. I think so if it isn't in too tight.
