Default How to get more sound of Rinehart slip-ons?

How to get more sound of Rinehart slip-ons (no true duals)?

Simple question, not that easy to answer:
1) increase compression - other cams
2) modify mufflers - how????
3) fullsac - for dual sound
4) V&H dresser duals - will it increase sound or only make it stereo?
5) ..............

I needed to add extra information:

its a 2007SG without catalytic convertor, so I don't know if only changing to duals or fullsac will do the job. If anyone has experience?

Listen. If your looking for drag type sound forget it. Look at my signature. IMO my pipes are loud when throttle cracking but nothing short of drags will give you drag sound IMO.
Anyone else got an opinion?

Hi Gliden,

I am not looking for the drag pipe sound. I want the sound to be more powerful. Looking at your signature I guess you don't have reasons to complain. High compression and gasvolume so that will be a warrantee for a powerful sound from your slipons.
I am looking for a pretty cheap solution, I'm satisfied with the performance. As I look to your set up I would definately have to spend a lot of bucks!

If turn down tips are available, that sends the sound to the pavement then back up to the rider.

with standard tip the sound goes straight out the back--- and gone

If they are 4" slip-on's they come standard with a 2 1/4"baffle.
You can buy a 2 1/2" high flow baffle for 89.99 USD.

This should give you a little of what you're lookin for.

MKGuitar: I have been thinking about this option too. Do you think the eagle breaks wil do the jog, although I like the black end caps.

Ohio: these are the 3,5" and no replacement baffles are available for them.

You could look into Big City Thunder baffles and replace the stock baffles. I used to have RH 3.5 true duals and pulled out the baffles and put some of Big City's monster baffles in the head pipes. I thought it sounded great!
