Got rid of the air shocks on the '13 FLHX in favor of some 944s. With standard springs. I'm 180# and tested the pre load by going over a nasty dip at a curve by my house. With the air shocks, I would get launched off the seat and the bike would wobble. Now I barely move on the seat and the bike tracks steady. The boss even said she noticed quite a difference.

 

Cool. In the seat does ride height feel the same?

 

Did the same thing last fall...Much better as they wear in too!

 

Ride height is the same, but it felt weird on the lowest preloaded setting. It was way too Buick like.
