The AutoZone blind hole puller will work fine if they have the right size collet and it's free.

I would use the old cam to tap in the new bearings (part # side out). Bring your new bearings to autozone to check for a propper fit collet.

Yes, I have used it; just need the right size collet. It is a puller and you cannot install the new bearings with a puller. There a separate tool for installation that will set the bearings at a specified depth in the bore. I have also used old cam to tap the bearings in. Freeze the bearings over night, coat the bearing cage and the bearing bore with assembly lube. Place the bearing on the cam journal and tap them in.

There is tool available from beattygw@sbcglobal.net for $85 that will pull and install the bearings. That's what I use now.
