Thats the one I ordered for the RG, I ordered 2 single ones for the other 2 bikes and they sent the dual harnesses for everything. I recommend the 4500k the 6000k I got is very bluish, youll get more light with the 4500 or 5000k.
Been following this thread with a lot of interest and I have a couple of questions:
1) Is 35W what I should buy? Some guys say the 55W kit washes out colors so 35W is sufficient.
2) I don't like any kind of blueish tint so what bulb should I order? 4300K or 5000K?
3) Some guys bought the 35W single (lo) kit and others bought the 35W hi/lo kit. Some guys say, I never use the high so buy the lo, you'll be fine. Is that true? What happens if switch to Hi on the handlebar? Will I end up with no light or will the low beam stay on?
4) Is it true that when you turn the engine on, the HID headlight doesn't turn on for a couple of seconds until it heats up? Is this why you have to connect the HID kit to the battery directly so that as soon as you turn the ignition on, the light turns on, even if you don't start the bike?
I just bought an HID kit from PremierHIDlights.com for my 2009 Ultra Classic, after speaking with the owner on the phone.
I chose their 35W H4 bi-xenon (hi/lo), 6000K (white). Cost $32.95 w/ free shipping and one year warranty. The owner told me that 6000K should be a perfect pure white light with no blue whatsoever. I thought 5000K was the limit for pure white but maybe it's not the same for all kits. We'll see.
You need to use the relay harness to activate hi-lo. If you have a lo only bulb, no need for the relay.
Although the owner told me that the fuse and relay are on the battery connectors end of the harness and not on the ballast end, I'm not 100% sure, based on the comments I read here.
In any case, the harness is only 3ft long so it won't allow me to put the ballast inside the fairing and connect the other end to the battery under the seat without extending the wires. It's a simple modification to do and as I'll be extending the wires, I'll move the relay and fuse closer to the battery if necessary. No big deal.
I should receive it by mid-week and will post my feedback when it's installed.

I have the 6k and it has a hint of blue not as much projecting on the road, but if you look at the bike with the lights on it will appear blue. The 5k's dont have the blue tint. Look up a Kelvin scale and it shows exactly where the colors go from yellow to white to purple.

PremierHIDlights.com doesn't carry 5000K, it's either 6000K or 4300K. The owner told me to go with 6000K and he assured me that it's pure white with no blueish halo at all. It seems that it depends on the bulb mfg. Some 6000K have a hint of blue, others don't.
4300K is yellowish.
I have a 2003 roadglide, bought an hid kit from superchargertuning (e-bay) which has two sets (dual headlight) with seperate high beam (halogen bulb) and low beam (hid). the bulb wont fit the housing and the retailer doesn't know what i'm talking about, any one familiar with this co. or its products? thanks bill

The halogen bulb set up goes in a reflector housing that has an extra hole off to the side, I believe the european style is that way.
I have an 07 but I dont have the halogen bulb as you described, but my hi/lo HIDs hit the frame bracket. The base of the HID bulb is longer I think by 3/4" than stock bulbs. If youre running the stock clear headlight cover you may be able to adjust the headlights out about 3/4" so they wont hit. I just picked up a 2013 R/G headlight and mounting plate, these bulbs actually mount on the outside of the mounting plate giving more room for the plugs. In my case I have the painted bezel so I couldnt adjust mine out too far.
