Default Road Tech Zumo 665 and aux port

I have a zumo 665 and also purchased the interface module. After reading all there is about this module, if your only going to listen to xm or mp3's, its not worth the price because the unit will still mute the music and get prompts though the aux port in the front of the radio. (you must connect the gps to the aux port even if you have the module)
My question is, there must be someone who knows how to bypass the aux on the front and wire it under the fairing to get rid of that ugly wire coming out of the aux port. HELP

Thumbs up

i just recently completed a zumo install like the CVO bikes have on my 2008 ultra. I also installed the NAV interface. I have the wire just peeking out of the fairing on the right side to go to the radio if I want to use the player from the zumo. I do know you can send out your radio and get a port installed/rerouted to the rear of the radio and have the connection completly hidden from view. I just play mp3 discs for now. That is the only option I have found. I did a lot of research on this before I dove in and did the upgrade. I do like the commands of the zumo thru the speakers. hope this helps Jeff
