Talking Show me your air intake! (please)

Not sure what I want, but I know I hate the stock football looking thing.

it hides the plug and wiring at 9 o'clock on the 08+ intake----a 'sleeker' ( incl. the Ventilator) intake exposes that.

Besides, it's a "football" the "Hamcan" was the shovelhead style cover.

If you look below at Dr Plastic's second photo, you'll see the plug. and in boogaloodude's photo, you'll see the 07 and earlier style intake without the plug and wiring

Next best (Maybe better) choice was the S&S tuned runner.

Thinking I will change to that soon as it offers more filter area, and flows more CFM.

Check my album for the SE ventilator. Much nicer than the stock football and fits tighter than the heavy breather allowing for better legroom.

Never liked the football cover, way too clunky looking, and needlessly large, kept hitting my knee on it.

This one was about 15 bucks on ebay.

When I installed the Stage 1 kit, I used the Arlen Ness "Big Sucker" kit.
I first bought the Stage 2 kit but didn't like the exposed filter look.
So just by changing the filter, it is now a Stage 1 kit.

It uses any Factory cover. I still didn't like the Football cover.
So I went in my junk box and found the Stock "Bell" from my 1985 FLHTC Electra Glide.
Just bolts up with one bolt. It looks great IMO.
