Default Belt Drives Inc. How long is fair?

I ordered a 139 tooth belt from Belt Drives Ltd. they charged my account on 1-9-2012. I didn't receive any emails or any packages by 1-20-2012, so I checked their site and it shows my order and order number. So then I emailed them asking for a tracking number or status on my order. Again no response from them. Today I called them and couldn't talk to anyone, only leave a message with my phone number and email address. Am I being to impatient? Remember no contact from them at all.

Hopefully you used Paypal or a credit card. I would be upset with them not contacting at all. Good luck!

If they charged your card on the 9th, they are REQUIRED to have it boxed and ready to ship. Until it ships the only thing they are allowed to do by law is run a pre-authorization. BDL has been around a long time, but you've done your part, with zero response...I'd say dispute the charge now.

Ya it would be nice of them to give you the info.
Could be one of those drop-ship companys that order from somewhere else .
Good luck!

I will dispute the charges tomorrow if I don't hear from them by email or phone by then. Does anyone that has done the 30t drive pulley know a good place to buy a 139t belt from.

You have fulfilled your part. I can understand if they're having a termporaty 'bump' in the road with their processing, but to leave you with no way to contact them is inexcusable in today's communication/information world. You may be inclined to make some allowances if they just let you know what the deal is. They have set customer expectations in their marketing and failed.

I don't recall where I purchased my 139t belt last October, if you're interested, I can look it up.

Belt Drives Inc. isn't BDL. I ran belt primaries back in the day and BDL was a stand up company. I never heard of Belt Drives Inc.
