Default Monroe shocks stock fender ?

Just curious if anyone knows if there's a lower profile tire for an 18inch rear wheel. I put the DIY monroe air ride kit on and now it will not roll if all the air is out of the shocks. The tire is hitting the fender until I get atleast 50 psi in the shocks. Currently I have a stock fender with a 150/70/18 on the rear. Wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem and what they did. The shocks ride great but if there was a loss of air the bike would not roll. Any ideas or solutions would be great. Thanks for any replys.

No one else has had this problem on the DIY air ride kits with a street glide? Hoping to get to ride this afternoon but would like to figure out if I have something setup wrong.

I am running the air ride with Monroes and 18" rear also and can air mine all the way down and the bike can still be moved around without the tire rubbing the fender. I do have a 15 road glide and a Bad dad replacement fender so I don't know if that is making a difference. The shocks basically mount up like the stockers so I cant figure out why yours wont roll aired out. Do you have lowering kit on the rear as well?

Thanks for the reply. No lowering kit is being used. Don't know if mine being an 08 makes a difference. I'm lost on why it doesn't roll with no air. I haven't found any other threads that have discussed this. Anyone running this kit on a 08 streetglide?

Does seem strange. Are there optional lengths of Munroe shocks? I've done a bit of measuring of clearances on my bike and the shocks would have to be very short to let the tyre rub the fender.

I got got the ones on amazon that everyone else had ordered according to the comment section. Does anyone know of a lower profile tire that I could possible use. I currently have a 150/70/18 metzeler.
