Default Road King please

I have to chime in here.

I'm new to riding and initially I was attracted to the Heritage Classic for the classic look but after just a bit of homework I learned the right bike for me was the RKC. I started riding in the middle of last summer and already have put 15k miles on it. I love the bike and I will ride it into the ground, and when that happens I will probably hit the show room and pick up another RKC or RK - really the only bike on the planet for me.

It's funny but I was just saying this exact thing to my sister who is down visiting from Alaska not three days ago. She bought me my first gremlin bell ever too and brought it with her. How cool is that?

Love the RKC. Wanted one ever since I was a kid. Had 4 other Harleys until I got a 2011 one. My dealer had to trade another dealer to get mine. They said RKC sell as fast as they get them.

Maybe a couple. But most of them had been modified in ways that I don't think dealers would do for a rental bike. Those are usually left pretty plain.

I'm enjoying reading everyone's responses. Keep them coming.

I know I love my RK. Just didn't know why there were so many classics on the lot compared to other models. There was even one there that had a batwing on it with a Jenson stereo and four large speakers in the fairing. Rest of the bike was in pretty rough shape though.

I really enjoy my RKC, it feels solid and stable and the SE 255 cams work for me. Had not been able to ride since October when I put the bike in storage at the dealer.
Went for a ride from the dealer today temps in mid 40's. I had forgotten how good the exhaust sounded - new backrest felt great.

I would not have any other HD bike model to ride.
