The Love Jugs video demonstrates how effective they are. The only negative for me is the size of the fans so I went with the smaller Wards Works fans. My objective was to cool the motor but I wanted a product that would blend in better aesthetically.
Believe it or not it gets pretty hot up here in the summer and sitting in stop and go traffic really cooks the motor. Because I have a touring bike I often travel south of the border for extended vacations in the USA. For the relatively small investment I think these little fans will be worth every penny when those hot summer days arrive.
It is baffling to me that the guy in the colds climate are buying cooling fans for there bikes.
90 degrees is just as hot in ny as it is cal...outside air temp is really irrelevant ..unless u ride in 40 degrees...my bike runs at same temp as the next guy...motor temp will always be the same if you can't get air moving across it...90 outside is 120 plus on the blacktop....

Not always "cold" as there are still summer days! Anyways, when thermostatically controlling fans, it really doesn't matter if cold or not. Even Harley has seen the light on water cooling of bikes...
