Default Boom audio road king install question.

I am installing the boom audio windshield speaker and amp system on my '12 RKC. I have read on other threads that some have run the wiring harness without removing the fuel tank. I took a look today and it is extremely tight under there. Any tricks or suggestions? And yes I already know the instructions say to remove the fuel tank. Thanks in advance.

I just un bolted the tank and lifted it up a couple inches then used a coat hanger to fish the wires to the battery box. worked perfect. Just make sure its not pinched or rubbing the tank when you set it back down.
