do you have adjustable pushrods? the adjuster may have slacked off.

if not, list any mods done to the motor.

location of noises can be found with a stethoscope or using a rod from your ear-bone to area of interest.

thats what we thought bad exhaust lifter

the noise seems to be coming from the exhaust valve on the front rocker box
yes adjustable pushrods added recently along with pushrods

Oh wait a minute... if you have adjustables then they might not be adjusted properly....I would check that first...My valve train noise went away when i installed my SE adj rods.

I just installed the 255 cams on my SG and used the SE tapered adjstable pushrods. I adjusted them 2.5 turns from snug. My bike is very quiet. If you have adjustables, you might want to check them.

Trade it in and get an Evo and deck it out with all the extra cash you have not having to fix the engine.
