Default low RPM Engine Vibration...Help

So i bought my bike about a 1.5 months ago 2010 FLHX 2580mi it now has 2900mi

has a SE 1 air filter,Rinehart slip on, SE Tuner, i noticed a vibration start

on a ride and didnt think much of it just thought it was a harley, well i was

trying a new seat w/sissy bar with the wife and she pointed out the

vibration also drove to work had a buddy take it for a quik ride and he

deffinitly felt it. It is the worse from 1500-1800rpm and it is engine for

sure. i can pull the clutch in and it goes away and i feel it more on a decel.

I checked the motor mounts, exhaust for rubbing, wheel weights, it has the

408 front tire. just looking for some insight before i take it to the dealer. thanks in advace!!

1500-1800 rpm is too low unless you are rolling down a hill.

at that motor speed oil pressure and volume is low. oil not only lubricates the turning assemblies but is also part of the cooling system, removing heat from the hottest parts of the motor ( pistons, heads) and carrying that heat away.

try operating the bike in a higher rpm range- for instance I shift to 6th gear at 65 or 70 mph on level ground, if on a grade, I'd stay in 5th until the speed is higher or the road flatter.

See if that affects what you are experiencing

persistent low rpm operation can destroy the lower end bearings and continually shocks the driveline, comp sprocket ( made to absorb these pulses) primary chain and tensioner, clutch, tranny internals, rear belt and ids can all be worn to the point of replacement.

If riding with other bikes ( experienced riders), you'll know if you revs are matched as the motors will "thrum" much like a multiengine piston powered bomber, on which motor speeds were often adjusted by ear and until vibrations through the airframe were reduced

pulling in the clutch does pretty much rule out any chassis problems, with the clutch pulled in, rev the motor and what happens?

1500 rpm is just above idle. Run in the 2200-3000rpm range and see the difference.

What gear are you in at 1500-1800? It should be only 1st gear.

Make sure your rear pulley bolts are tight.
