I got the same speakers going in my lowers. The speaker grills need to be trimmed a little to fit in the lower "speaker pockets" I did that with a disk sander at work on a slight angle.

Just waiting for Hawg Wired to drop ship my install kit for my new Kenwood head unit.

polk mm are 2 ohm speakers you'd have to wire 2 per channel to get a 4 ohm load.if your doing that u get only 40 watts per speaker instead of 80 on 1 speaker.

I used the Focal solution too, and the PBR300., I also have the Sony head unit, I'm very happy!

Actually they are 2.7 which is a lot closer to 3, but still not 4, I didn't notice that before I purchased some, but so far no issues, and they sound great.

I have those in my fairing with the mm651s in the lowers, I'd paid a little more ($20, but with free shipping, ) I've had them installed for only a couple of weeks so I can't give you a long term, but I like them so far.

The MM651UM is the ultra-marine grade that is indeed has 4 ohm impedence. Right now, it's between these and the Infinity Reference speakers for my fairing.
