F.I. controller vs. SE tuner

I've discovered my '05 EGC, FLHTCI, was outfitted with a Kuryakyn "Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller" by the previous owner. I think it's causing some fuel choke down issues. My indie is recommending a SE tuner. Help my inexperience...what's the difference between a controller, and a tuner? Will the SE tuner be an improvement?

I've got the same problem. A controller works for pipes and air filter, if you change your cams (like you have to do on your '05) you will the next level. You can choose between SE tuner or PC III or maybe TTS.

The screaming eagle reprograms your bikes computer"flashing" it.
Some tuners piggyback thr stock ecu. It intercepts the message/adjusting the signals so the stock ecu reads it
