First off GREAT forums....I have been stalking for sometime, but finally registered.

My question is I have a 2012 SG, and I just ordered a 23 for the front. I had a 21 on my older RK, and loved how it rode, but wanted to go a bit more ffor this bike.

I have read that people use the stoke TG trees for the 23 vs HHi etc trees, and was wanting to see what people thought of those. Also I read on Dave “Ultraboy” Bickford's write up that he ordered a new skirt, Do you have to? Even with the skirt its a $400 savings over HHI, but I want to make sure the rake is comparable to them.

Here are part numbers I believe will work for me
83374-09 Bracket Assembly, fork stem

83404-09 Bracket, upper fork stem

83453-09 Skirt
