Starting with my stock bike: I just purchased a SE air intake, Vance and Hines Power Duals, and Vance and Hines Monster Ovals. This is all I plan on doing as far as performance upgrades. I'm thinking a SE race tuner and I'm done. If there is a better direction can someone point me the way. FT

 

Don't know about better, but Fuel Moto can send you a PCV or a Vision, and you can likely avoid a dyno-tune. The race tuner is a great choice too.

I went with the Revolution Performance EMS. Bought it at FuelMoto. I had a HD SEPST and dealer dyno tune before and then added cams and needed another tune. I don't have a good dyno person anywhere near me that I know of or could locate. I didn't want to spend time dialing one in myself. Canned maps can be hit or miss. So I went with the Rev Perf. I have been happy with it so far. I am probably going to change the exhaust system again. With the Rev Perf, all I have to do is start it up and let it run a few minutes, and it will dial in itself. Check it out, there are a quite a few running them out there. (check other HD forums also for more info.).......my 2 pennies FWIW.

 

That's exactly the setup I have on my 2011 103 Limited Ultra --- except for the Monster Ovals (didn't like that sound, for me.) I also had it on a dyno, just because I like to do everything right the 1st time. I don't have cams or anything else, and it runs great. You'll be fine. I'm putting Vance & Hines High Output slip-ons on next week. Amazing deep, rumbly sound. Go to Youtube, put on some headphones, and listen to them on that orange Street Glide. That's EXACTLY what the sound like. Just like a V8!

 

What would be the advantage of going with the power vision? Also, cost. I know the Power Vision is 500.00 and the SE tuner is around 250.00. FT

SERT and Dyno here. Let the tuner plug and play, he knows the game!

 

tts master tune lets you vtune your self so you do not need a dyno to tune it and with a little work and patience you can get within 95-98% of a great tune. I got 99 ft/lbs and 79hp on my stage 1 103 rgu vtuning have not seen many dyno tuned much better.

 

u might wanna look into a thundermax i have one and i love the the way u can tune yourself as well.
