I just realized something! After picking up my 3rd bike in the last 10 years it just dawned on me that Harley doesn't make a two wheeled bike with a motorized windscreen, illuminated controls, reverse, built in GPS, heads up display, auto adjust suspension, and a coffee maker. Damn it! Well, I guess as long as it doesn't sound like a '75 Vega without a muffler I'm ok with it cuz it sure rides like a Harley, sounds like a Harley, and looks like a Harley. Good thing I was looking for a Harley.
But, what the hell do I know . . . I'm just a Harley rider that can't read and can't find the Gold Wing forum . . . . (oh lighten up . . . . )

Lit handlebar switches are available from Bagger Werx.
They show them in chrome or black, LED backlit for about $190 retail.
Found them on Amazon for considerably less:

To the Goldwing's credit. Reverse gear, flash drive USB port for the stereo, onboard adjustable rear shocks, all of the radio controls on the handlebars, side-stand neutral safety switch, vented windshield. Not to mention the performance. Lets see, is there anything else? Oh! I almost forgot. I put 211,000 miles on a Goldwing without any break-downs or being stranded.
My current Ultra Classic stranded me twice and was in the shop for warranty repairs every 3,000 miles for the first 17,000 miles.

Do you really need something to divert your attention from what is happening around you to a simple operation such as putting on your signal? Really? You want to draw your attention to the handlebar to locate an illumined light to change lanes or turn when you should have your head on a swivel paying attention to conditions. Keep the fancy control lights….
