Default 2014 Fairing Vent - Nothing New, In fact.....

In fact Honda did this years ago on the Valkyrie Interstate Tourer. I guess Harley copied it from Honda. Not the first time a manufacture has copied from someone else.

It's hard to put anything "new" on a harley trying not to break up the tradition..I'm sure they could build a radiated cooled, high-tech, creature comfy. plastic claded areo dynamic bike and the only way you could tell the differnce from a wing or victory would be the badging...not cool..(no pun intended)

Yes, everyone takes from everyone else, thats called progress.

Macintosh computer? Taken from Xerox parc. Cars all have brake and accelerator pedals.

Point is?

Yep, that's where I saw it. I am trying to help a buddy find a Valkyrie. His son gave him a 2010 Ultra Limited and he doesn't like all "the shaking". He is beyond help I never had one and was surprised to see the vent so had to post it here. I actually had thought it was something new that Harley had come up with.

The old Vetter Wind Jammer fairings from the 70's Had venting, but the vents were round holes drilled in the windshieldwith adjustable deflector plugs. Of course this was an option. It did help with buffeting and equalizing the pressure difference.
