overheating warning system 2007 road king???
Is there any warning of overheating while at freeway speed, automatic slow down etc? As I understand there is a rear cylinder shut down mode at idle at a certain temperature. Some said I would hear pinging if it was too hot but I wear ear plugs so that would not help. thanks

there is a rear cylinder shutdown, called the eitms, but on your 07 it may or may not be activated. to activate it, requires a dealer flash. they were allowing one flash to activate, and one flash to deactivate if you didn't like it, but only during the warranty period.
if you're just cruising at freeway speed, you shouldn't have any worry about overheating. its the bumper to bumper stop and go that'll kill you. at speed, you have good cooling, but not so at a crawl.
