Best quiet slip on pipe

Ok guys, so I sold my rineharts, put stock pipes back on my 09 EGS....I like quiet.....are there any pipes that have the deep throaty sound that I had with my rineharts, without needing to wear earplugs on longer rides....ie better sound than stock, but still quiet......If possible give me your opinion on a 1 to 10 loudness scale, with stock, being 1, i thought my rineharts were about a 5.... I liked their deep sound but after a while at cruise it was just to much....

I really like the stock pipes, but you may wanna try V&H Monster Ovals. Very stereo friendly.

American Custom, mid range baffles.

Did you have the 3.5" or the 4" rhinos. I switched from the 3.5" to the 4s, deeper and a little quieter, more touring friendly. Prolly still too loud for you from the sound of it tho.

I agree with the Supertrapps. I have the SE Fatshotz (made by Supertrapp).

I was in the same position as you are. I wanted quiet. I ran the stock mufflers most of the time, but also had some Jackpot DynoTuned 3 1/2s and while i really liked the Jackpots at idle and easy cruising, they were too loud for me under hard acceleration/deceleration and higher speed cruising for any length of time.

Now with the Fatshotz I'm completely happy with the way mine sounds. Using your rating system I'd say their sound level is a 2. Just ever so slightly louder than stock, but also a little deeper.

I use stock pipes with Vance & Hines EPA COMPLIANT TWIN SLASH SLIP-ONS. Nice low note and yet very stereo friendly at 80 mph.

I love my SE nightstick, so did my tuner.
