So a little history. 91 flhs. Bought it at 78k miles. Gas mileage was crap, leakingG forks blah blah blah.
I've been getting popping on decel and some ticking coming from the front left jug..
​Here's what I did and what improved​.
Carb had a dyna jet kit which wasn't set right​​. Plugs showed black soot on them.
Changed the 180 jet to 170


Put a stock vacuum slide spring and drilled the slide. Set timing to factory spec and set the dyna 2000 to curve 2.
Loosened the primary chain tensioner to factory spec.
As of now I'm redoing the intake gaskets because after ​​​​​changing it once it still leaked.
​I've done a except changed the oil but 20 50 in it 2300 miles ago and it till ticked.
​​​​​ So with the ss intake seals I may solve the decel popping. But what do you guys think about the ticking
