I do notice a slight difference with the Stage 1 and Hi flow A/C. The bike also sounds a lot better

Sorry, I lost the guys information. I do think drilling it out is an easier option.

I cut out the Cat on my 2012 bike Added slip on & SE air intake. Dyno tuned with PC V Running temp dropped big time. Gained approx. 10 hp and additional torque
Gas mileage improved Well worth it in my opinion

I did it when I first got my '11. Did the window cut method with a cut off wheel. A buddy of mine welded it back together for me. Best effin mod I've ever done! Cheapest one too! World of difference in terms of the heat coming off of it now. I just can't imagine you'd be able to get all the crap out if you drilled it. But whatever. I scraped, chiseled, wire brushed and polished every single scrap of that cat material outta there.

My 2 cents, My buddy on his 2011 Road King 103.
He removed the muffler and used a drill and long drill bit, he drilled up into the pipe, drilled several holes in the cat, started the bike up and it all came flying out. He did not put on a new AC or tuner kit.

Default drill out cat on 2013 streetglide

we were told you can drill out the cat from end of header pipe while pipe is still on the bike. does this sound possible? how would you know it all came out? i have seen cutting a window video, is that the only way to go? thanx Adam
