Exclamation DTC code on 2009 Bagger

Anyone ever experienced that after 10 min ride the Speedo goes to "0", the engine hesitates and bogs for 2-3 sec and you can continue riding but the engine warning light comes on after 1min - checked then after stopping the rised DTC ( showing P0501 - VSS low EFI ). Cleared the DTC, started the engine after 1 min, went riding, and after 10 - 15 min the same story starts again ! Anyone knows how to fix this ?

2009 FLHRC RoadKing Classic, 96" stage 1 airfilter, S&S Powertune Duals (no Cat.), CFR Slipons, PowerCommander 5 with AutoTune kit, V+H ThrottlePak

Check your pin connections. I seem to remember others having issues with the pins wearing down and causing faulty connection

should do - and i think i gonna pull out the VSS-sensor from the tranny to see if itīs damaged or maybe full of metal chips...
just iīm not sure if this "special" behaviour is maybe caused by another things as well ..

WTH ! I disconnected the PC5 and Autotune and the Throttlepak - no changes !

If VSS was changed and aftermarket items removed, it's in your wiring. You have a short to ground. Trace wiring and verify nothing is amiss or chaffed. I would also check the ECM connector under the seat as often the connection can be compromised when not being properly seated.
