I installed a fender-tip light on a friend's Deluxe & I took her fender off--4 bolts & it came right off;no hassles getting it back on. I left the wheel in place. 'Course I was just replacing the chrome tip with the lighted tip;it wasn't a new install.

 

The son and I made the swap this weekend. We left the wheel on but could have used a universal joint-type socket extension to get at the bolts a little easier. We were patient and got the job done with an offset box-end half-inch wrench. The stock fender and lighted tip look great!

 

Everything went smoothly. We left the wheel on, and wired it up. Looks good and works fine. Thanks again.
