I'd rather have a much flatter torque curve. I make 20 more ftlbs down low and my torque stays stronger longer and I'm using 555's while only giving up 1hp/3tq peak to the above chart.
I agree, that torque line is not really that great. I would rather lose a little torque and have it fairly solid through the rpms then have it dropping so abruptly all the way to redline IMO. Then again I dont run a woods cam so maybe it feels better on the pull than it looks on the chart.

I spoke with Jamie on cams. He said, as someone else here mentioned, if you don't plan on a lot of engine work, the 555s are good for the 103". I have them in my Crossbones (96") and it pulls like a freight train....

Here is a dyno chart from a customers bike from this forum that we did a couple weeks ago, very strong running factory 103. 2011 Touring, factory 103" w/stock heads, Wood TW-777 cams, Jackpot 2/1/2 head pipes, Jackpot mufflers and tuned with Dynojet PC-V.

Yes, your 10:1 comp 103" / TW5-6 / w/ported heads turned out very nice! Thank you for making the trip to Wisconsin and giving us the opportunity to build and tune it. The TW5-6 is a great option for low end torque and runs out great thru the RPM range.

Cool

Not to hi-jack this thread, but thanks Jamie, we had a great time up there with you guys. Everybody "freaks out" when they see my dyno sheet. 111hp/118.94tq. Hope to send you some business in the near future. kevdon, Kevin.

Just installed TW-777 2012 SG. Have TV-3 installed and was told it would adjust timing for new cams, well it doesn't adjust timing.. So running cams without timing adjustment, for now. bike seems to run strong but PCV coming in the morning. Sound nice and lopey hahahaha

So, after 3700 miles and a road trip to Brice and Zyon with the 777's, I would definetly recommend these to anyone that is looking to do head work later down the road, they sound great and they performed even better and I still got 39-42 MPG depending on elevation. I love rolling thru town at 1800 rpm and hearing them loping. They pull hard all the way thru the band and never keep me wondering when they will end. I would have to say, one of if not the best mod to date for my bike, I ride 2 up 98% of the time and when you want to pass....drop a gear or 2 (depending on speed) point and throttle up.
