Default Stage 1 , whoops?

So I bit the bullet and took my sg in this morning to do the recall and stage 1. Did thep SEPT, se backing plate (will change se element to K&N when it wears out and V&H high flow pipe. holy s@@@, louder than expected. I normally like loud pipes but this is crazy. I was originally going with th se nightstick, but decided on the V&H based on my parts guy recommendation. (I have worked with him a lot and he is normally bang on) it also feels like I have lost torque, but it may be that I'm not used to the volume. Will definitely need to wear ear plugs! Just goes to show, it pays to listen to an installed pipe before buying!

if you reconsider, the nightstick is made for S/E by supertrapp.

and it accepts all the supertrapp 4" discs, endcaps etc.

all the power, completely controlled noise, loud or quiet

having more bikes than supertrapps, i put nightsticks ( modified ala supertrapp) on the 09 and am quite happy with the results. the nightsticks were take offs for about 1/3 retail

I'm going to give it a month. If I don't get used to it, I'm going Supertrapp like I originally planned. I am also going to see if V&H makes baffles for this muffler.

I put V&H Big Shot Staggered on my Deuce and thought it was uncomfortably loud. I found that they offered a "quiet baffle" and I got a set. Perfect! Just the sound I wanted.

Where are these available? I can't find them on their website.
