Default HF wheel chock

I bought the Harbor Freight wheel chock. I plan on bolting it down but was wondering do I take the rubber floor mounts off the front so it lays flush with the floor or do I leave them on so it is up off the floor in the front?

I left mine on also. It bolts down at the rear only.

I bolted mine with a bolt up front and one on the right side. It's on the 4th hole for the front adjustment. Even that far back it holds the bike fine and I don't hurt an already bad back.

Ok. Finally used the wheel chock. The front tire fit snugly in but it wasn't touching the bottom of the unit, maybe up about an inch or so. When I went to pull it off, she wouldn't come out. I needed help. Should the wheel be touching the bottom, do I have it too tight, do I need to start lifting weights? Couldnt believe how hard it was to pull it out without help. It's not mounted to the floor, yet.

I took the front bar off and I have the front pin in the #4 position (if the front pin location is #1)
16" tire
I couldn't get the bike off myself in position 1-3. Plenty stable in #4 position

Yea, its WAY too tight! Open it up till the tire touches the bottom! Shouldn't need a winch to get the bike off it. Mine works great! Yours will too when ya get it adjusted right.
