Go to page 2-123 connector 67 is the connection of the switch to the harness. There is no tap at that location you would have to spice the wires. The switched open connector is actually connector 4 in Table B-1 labeled P&A Accessory. This is located under the seat and is a black female Deutch 4 connector.

This is another good post that shows the P&A plug (black) and the B+ (grey) plug located under the seat. what is not in this post is the California solinoid plugwhich is a bright Orange. Perhaps this is a RG rather than a RKC. or perhaps it had changed in 2012 model year.

Thanks. Does anyone know if the B+ plug under the seat is fused? Thanks.

Mine acc. plug was jammed underneath the rear of the gas tank when bike was new and took some time to locate as it was completely hidden. Depending on the accessory, once plugged in, it may or may not be powered from the acc switch on the dash. Has to do with the config of the pins and which ones the accessory uses. I've plugged in accessories that are switched via ignition switch regardless of the position of the acc switch. and others that require the acc switch on. when looking at the plugs attached to the accessories, can see not all of the 4-pins are in use.

Anyone know which of these individual part numbers I would need to make a male end to plug into the female deutsch connector under the seat?

Thx.

The switched Acc plug (Deutsch) on my 09 RK is under the seat and I have my fog lights wired to it, the switch on the Nacelle operates them. There is another power source under the seat I think it's called a B+ comnnector and it's a grey looking thing.

Ted,

You'll need the parts id'ed as 1, 4, and 6 in the link you posted. You'll also need a crimp tool to attach the sockets to the wires.

No disrespect intended, but are you sure you want to undertake this since the pictures are pretty self-explanatory and the male and female connectors are pretty obvious, as well as the parts needed to make them.

In any case, good luck with your project.

No offense taken. Even if I muss it up, not an expensive mistake and good learning experience. I have a very good crimping tool already. Thx,

Ted
