BR's Custom Handlebars
 

After searching far and wide for a set of bars that worked for me I saw an add in Bagger's Mag for BR's Custom Bars.

Bill at Br's will make almost anything you want. The best part is they are made to YOUR specs including exact hand position. All you have to do is hold a broomstick where you'd like to be, have a helper take some measurements and VIOLA!

Mine are in and being wired on my '12 Road Glide Custom. I chose the 1 1/4" "New Wave" bagger bar.

I'll post pics when they're done.

Thanks Alan, she was beautiful. Unfortunately, she is in heaven where all good Harley's go. I got in a wicked wreck last December. The good news is I'm riding again and working on my next project bike using the Road Glide Custom.

Several HD Mechanics have told me to stay away from these or any other bars with sharp bends in them - There reason is that if the electronics get cut or shorted - there is really no telling what might happen - Do you have any feedback, positive or negative about those comments - kinda stuck now deciding what to do - one HD shop out right refused to quote the install due to safety reasons

All the bends inside the bars were clean and unobstructed. I did a test run with some spare wires before letting my HD dealer install them for me. I know Harley likes to stay with a bar that have nice smooth curves for ease of install but that style is so outdated!
