Hey all I was just curious if anyone has installed the flash to pass garage door opener with thier new Truck Lite phase 7 or any TL for that matter? I recieved my TL PH7 headlight, but havent gotten around to installing it yet. I currently have the flash to pass opener, (hit high beems twice) installed with my stock hologen setup and was wondering if it will work with the TL? I'd hate to splice into the wires and screw up a new headlight. Has anyone tried this??? Thanks

 

I am not sure what the flash to pass opener does but I have the Harley garage door opener and just installed the Truck Lite Phase 7 LED headlight and passing lamps and my Harley garage door opener works fine with it. You just flick the headlight switch from low to high to low and it works.

 

wlibert-Sounds like flash to pass is essentially the same thing as you have. Its been a couple years since I installed it, but I remember screwing/splicing into the wiring harness and just wasnt sure how it would work out with the TL. Thanks for the info.

 

I've got the ftp with my TL led's and it works just fine.

 

I have the phase 7 and the flash to pass and it works fine.

Light is installed and everything works great....boy is it bright!! Thanks again to all who replied

 

Works fine with the HD LED and there is no reason it wouldn't work with the TL because it works off of the electrical impule in the wire not the light.

 

No to hijack the thread, but are you guys happy with the TL set up I.e. brightness, quality. Can you provide a part number? I have an 07 SG I'd like to put one on. Thanks

 

Not sure why but my F2P is basically junk right now. When it works, it requires 3 to 6 attempts before the door opens or closes. I put one on my bike and one on my wife's car; neither works properly. Am I doing something wrong?
