Elite 3's for 09' Ultra?

I have been looking online for Elite 3's for an 09' Ultra Classic but have not been able to find the right size. Even the Dunlop website recommends the D407 . Is there an Elite 3 that will fit the 09 without rubbing? I am not happy with the D407s and would like to try another tire.

If no Elites, what else are you using?

Thanks

The Elete 3's do not fit the newer bikes. Talking to the Dunlop Rep at the Cleveland IX center this past winter, we need the Dunlop American Elite.

These will fit also... Michelin Commander II Cruiser, I just found it by tire size on a site. Any comments or reviews about these tires?

The Elite for the 09 and up HD Touring bikes is called Dunlop American Elite. I have one on the back of my 09 Ultra now and I like it a lot.
Michelin just released a Commander II for our bikes. They say it's designed to last 25K miles.

I had a Michelin Commander before my E3's. The Commander was a good tire.

PM me.

The Dunlop American Elites are the same as 407 Rear and 408 Front tires that Dunlop stamps with the Harley Davidson Brand on the sidewall. American Elites are the same exact tire, with a different tread pattern, but they don't say Harley Davidson on the sides. They sell only through Dunlop dealers and not Harley Dealers. They are much cheaper.
