2001 Harley Roadking Alarm Issues
#11
I honestly don't remember what was written on the box. All I remember is that it was on the right side behind the fiberglass panel. Sat in a small frame, about an inch thick and 3 to 4" square. If you try to get to the battery, you will have to cut around the access panel to get to it. Again, I think that your unit is going bad. The more I thought about it, I remembered going to the dealer and telling them the same thing. Turn on the ignition, lights blink a few times but the bike starts. As I said, the dealer replaced the unit. Should have just removed the unit itself, would have been cheaper. Check a wiring diagram to see where the turn signal lights connect to the alarms wiring. Good luck.

I pulled the turn signal module out and unplugged the module.. Of course, it stopped the blinking as well as the red key sign on the speedo dash, but wouldnt fire.. Then, I plugged it back in and tried pulling the security fuse and it wouldnt crank. Finally, I put the back in and it blinked again at startup and started.. My question is, is the module going out and if so , I guess it will shut the bike down?
