Rollin down the highway on my glide yesterday when I noticed check engine light on,battery light on and voltmeter dropping.That didn't look good figured I'd try to make it to the barn.
In a couple miles everything went back to normal.
Haven't they had trouble with voltage regulators on these?

 

I bought mine last July, not a single problem in the 4500 miles I put on it before winter. I havent heard of any defects in the charging system but anything electical can be a problem.

 

Mine is in for the 1K service now. Had the same lights on the day before. Probably the voltage regulator. Dealer said that they had changed out about 6 this week. My question was, are they replacing with the same or a better one?
