Default Tour Pak comfort

I am getting ready to pruchase a 2012 Ultra Classic. My wife enjoyed riding on my Road King but it was hard on her back on long trips. Will the tour pak be a lot more comfortable for her? It looks like it would be. Any suggestions for more comfort?

I've read of many wives and girlfriends that find themselves falling a sleep back there

Short answer from my wife would be yes, she loves it. Huge difference compared to bikes we've ridden without one. She is fine for big mile days as long as she can lean back and get comfy and you can on the Ultra. 400+ mile days are no problem as long as we stop every 100-125 miles to stretch.

My wife complains about the comfort. Her dad has a Goldwing and the back seat is way more comfortable. I say, good, go ride the Wing with your dad, I'm not buying one.

we just did a Orlando to Detroit ride on my king i picked up, she said she loved the back rest. i picked up a tourpack last week and mounted it up, she said it was like heaven. One thing you might wanna do, is space it back 1-2" give them some more room along with you.

I had a backrest for my girlfriend on the back of my SG. It was ok, but when I bought and installed the tour pak, it made a HUGE difference in comfort for her. + storage.

Wifey loves ours. The pillion is so comfortable that I am usually ready to stop and stretch before she is.
