Default S&S dual intake?

Anyone here have this intake on your bike? Kind of pricey but also kind of neat. Wondering about fit/finish/appearance/results?

I've been curious about it also. Good looking intake IMHO.

for the most parts a "looks" thing.

just about all aftermarket air cleaners flow more air than the motor can ever use. ( with the exception of the "hype-charger")

Wow ... That is a beautiful intake! For my mild 103" street build I know it's more about aesthetics but hell, don't we all spend some $$ to get some looks with function??

My intake looks great. S&S says it is good for 5 hp on a crate 124" motor. My 124 makes 147 hp 142 tq, so I wouldn't say it is holding mine back any.

PS the 08+ H-D throttle body has an UGLY plug and wiring at the 7 o'clock position.

this intake leaves that exposed...the you have to add a cover to hide it, the cover has to extend over to about the rear cyl. intake pushrod cover

the bike shown above is an earlier model, different throttle body/wiring

In all likelihood I'll probably go with the H-D heavy breather but just looking to see some pictures of this unit. Won't be going on the bike until I get some TB work done this winter and the swap from my current Ventilator is for appearance change only. The local H-D dealer does 20% off so it's about $75 less than the best price I've seen for the black S&S at HDP. Looking at some heavy breather equipped bikes today, the TBW bikes need the $60 H-D cover to keep the plug/wiring out of view and it looks similar to the S&S cover. Keeping an open mind .....
