Yup the hanger and insert are cheap, talk to your service guys and they might have a used one for free. Thats were I got mine, no cost.
You will need a new head pipe, no way to make the 2-1 a dual.

Initially I ran a 2-1 Pro Pipe staying with the single side exhaust. Not the same IMHO. I just put on a Dual Cobra Powerport head pipe. It has a hidden crossover so it looks like a true dual, performs like a 2-1 but still has the look and sound of a true dual. I used Fuel Moto Dyno Power mufflers and it sounds and looks sweet now. So many compliments on the look and sound, particularly of the Powerport pipe and black tipped Fuel Moto Mufflers. All you need is the left side hanger bracket and the bolt for the underside crossover to attach to the transmission.

I put TDs on my 2010 as soon as they were available. Ended up I should have used 2009 TDs because of the AT sensor size.
I couldn't be happier (ok once I get the 107 kit with the TDs. I may have loss of power, but I can't tell that and can hang with the guys I ride with.
Bub 7s for me, black so you don't notice my Babe's boots on them!
