Looking for a set of speakers for my '09 Street Glide, (fairing only). I have a J&M Rokker amp already.

I would recommend a good set of Focal's... Especially if you can find a set of 6.5" CVX line components. Those have a built in crossover and the tweeters are adjustable. Crutchfield list them as discontinued but I found mine on eBay for $200.

Smile Looking for speakers

I had the J&M 7 1/4" Rokkers (4) speakers and amp on my 2010 Limited with the Rokker amp. They worked just fine. I had no problem cranking tunes at 80+ mph. Just got a new 2012 Ultra CVO so now all the J&M stuff is setting in the garage. If the sound on the CVO wasn't so good they would be on this one.

Bagger Nation has the 6.5" adapters and so does Arc Audio.( they are about 49.00pr)
I would agree with the Focals as being the loudest, but if you want a little more bass ( though you won't get much out of a 6.5") try the Rockford Fosgates. I have them in my fairing and Infinity 6x9's in my bag lids, being pushed by an Arc Audio 125x4 amp. The Rockfords sound awesome and have held up to the power as well!

Just my 2cnts...

I had the Rockford 6.5's in this bike first... I gave them away... They are crap compared to the Focals! Not even remotely close to the quality sound, bass, clarity, etc... You get what you pay for when it comes to audio... With the exception of the J&M speakers, they're over priced and sound like someone screaming into a coffee can to me... And that was at their booth in Daytona! The Rockfords are a little better than stock, & JM. Just my humble opinion :-)
