Installing a 23" wheel and wrapped fender on a bagger with pics

If the bike were a bike I rode daily I would either rake the trees or cut the neck and weld in the HHI raked neck.

I forgot to mention that keeping the geometry the same as well as keeping the crash bar and lower triple trees from hitting the fender are the main goals of this. Realize that the 23" wheel will be a bit heavier making steering slower but also feel sportier. The larger rolling mass of the 23" is what causes the wheel to feel heavier but a few trips around the b lock and you should be fine. If you are considering doing a single sided disc to show off the entire right side of the wheel that can be done too as we have done on the shop street glide.
The 23" rim is so large that some people could care less about going to a single disc, but for those that have done it, it really pays off in the style department. Here is a pic of a Road Glide that we did a few weeks back. The customer rode to our shop from Cincinnati to get this work done.
