I sorta against buying an HD or car in a loud color like yellow, orange, or bright blue. They often look really appealing NOW, but I'm always afraid that I will get tired of the color after a few years. and I'm not the type to trade in a vehicle every few years. I bought my RGC with the intent of keeping her about 10 years.

Yeah, I can't imagine why someone would buy a loud colored bike, unless they absolutely just love it!
I looked at an orange and a red hot sunglo ' 09 RG. I really liked the orange, but wife really didn't; so I got the red hot sunglo, while I very much like the red, I still wish I had gotten the orange.

That's comedy. All that matters is that you like your Purple bike. When buying my 2011 RGC, I was considering the Sedona for a hot minute, but just couldn't pull the trigger in it, especially after seeing the Vivid Black out in the sunlight. I knew that I would never get tired of Timeless Black and Chrome.
