Wanting to buy Hawg Wired Road King Media System the company has discontinued the product Anyone know of a used one out there

 

I'm on the same boat you are man. Looking to buy one, spoke with them and they stated that that is it for the unit/model. Too bad they decided to pull the plug on this one.

 

Well I found one. Hawg Wired RKS1203 5 speaker system mounts to the detachable windshield. A friend of my son had one attached to the used Road King he purchased in the fall. I got it for 50 bucks. He wanted a hundred, said he never turned it on just didn't like the way it looked on his bike. Came attached to a clear windshield w/all quick detach wind shield brackets and a black faring. Ever hear the saying " to good to be true " well here it is. I hooked it up with out installing listened to it for about 5 seconds sounded good so I went to install. Now keep in mind my install was to remove the wind shield and keep the rest. Well doing it right connecting to the switched power behind the head light, then find out the blasted thing cuts out when I try to turn it up. Took it apart looking for a loose wire and all was tight. Not sure what to do now I hear they discontinued this thing, Memorial weekend so I have to wait till Tuesday to call tech support. If anyone has one with blown speakers I think I need the amp.

 

I'm not sure if you have your question answered. I have a hawg wired rks 1203 as well and found out the unit is designed to cut out at lower voltage level so it wont drain power if your bike is not running. Mine is for sale, I am upgrading to a full fairing and system.
