Default Kuryakan quick Tour-Pak relocator or George Anderson

Need some help just had my seat done by Mean City (side note they do great work) I was moved back a little and now I crowd my wife, so I have to moving my tour pak back. I have heard a lot about George Anderson's relocation bracket and I like the idea of the quick adjustment on Kuryakan Quick Tour-Pak relocator. Anderson 's set up is pretty cut and dry, the Kuryakan looks like a very well engineered setup but I do not know how secure the Tour-Pak is with just the 4 cam locks. Both are not cheap so I want to get the right one the first time because an unhappy wife behind you is where Harley came up with the name Screaming Eagle.

I have Kury unit and have about 5K on it and it never moved. I will say that once it is in place I have never adjusted it. I had to modify it a bit for my use on a solo rack as shown here.

I also have the Kury unit. Like ReidRik I haven't moved it since it was installed. It made a huge difference in the ride comfort for my wife and I. Easy install, took about 30 mins. The cam locks have been solid.

As already mentioned, I also have the Kuryakyn tour pack relocator on my RGU. I went to the HD Tallboy seat that moved me back and the relocator gave my wife her seating room back. So far it has been very secure, it hasn't even made even a rattle, let alone slip out of place.

and username "Dawg" has written up on the $5 "3rd position" a couple of bolts and a couple of holes drilled.

search for it.

That leave a whole wad of money in your wallet.

George's relocator is awesome! My wife and I installed ours in about 20 minutes the night we brought the new bike home! My buddy has the Kury unit but my last Kury relocator broke so I don't trust them!

I know this was last week thread but I have been busy as a 3 legged Cat in a sand box so forgive the late question. When you and your wife installed George's relocator did it raise the Tour-Pak up and if so is it noticeable and did your wife feel the different?

I installed the George Anderson unit in March and my wife has not mentioned anything bad about it and we just returned from a 1300 mile ride. Thing to remember, George does not accept Credit Cards and will ship before he gets your check.

We've got the G.A. tour pak relocator and my wife loves it. It does raise the pak about 3/4 inch. My wife didn't mention anything negative about that. We moved the pak back the full 2 inches and it works great. I don't know anything about the Kury one but the GA one is fantastic.
