Are these the new "wedge" style or the old bayonet.round base ? I"m getting a 2007 RK soon up from my '91 and was wondering if the spare halogen bulbs I have for the turn/brake lights will work on the newer bike?
Can't seem to find a halogen turn signal/brake light bulb for the newer bike.
I know they are 1157 bulbs, but they require the Supported Element for anti-vibration. I have checked Autozone, O-Reillys, Napa and none of them have ever seen the stock Harley bulb and can't cross reference them??
The stock HD bulb is over $5 with tax...has anyone been able to get the HD Supported Element 1157 bulb cheaper or crossreferenced them?
Question is on the newer bikes ( 2003 and later) are the turn signal bulb bases bayonet ( round and twist in like the old ones) or the wedge ( flat and slide in) style please?
